Emerald 5M is compatible with a wide range of state-of-the-art Image Signal Processors (ISP) using the MIPI CSI-2 interface, developed for mobile applications.
Emerald 5M has digital circuits that have been enriched with real time pre-processing algorithms that reduce data storage and processing loads, and maximize the quality of information in each image e.g. the single frame HDR and patented Self Fast Exposure functionalities guarantee an optimized exposure at first frame, even under changing lighting conditions.
For the first time, a 5M resolution global shutter sensor fits a 1/1.8’ lens, ideal for tiny s-mount cameras.
Machine vision applications often have very diverse environmental conditions and Emerald 5M is available in two different chip packages to either optimize size and cost or prioritize robustness in harsh conditions.
