Emerald 2M is compatible with a wide range of state-of-the-art Image Signal Processors (ISP) using the MIPI CSI-2 interface, developed for mobile applications.
Emerald 2M has digital circuits that have been enriched with real time pre-processing algorithms that reduce data storage and processing loads, and maximize the quality of information in each image e.g. the single frame HDR and patented Self Fast Exposure functionalities guarantee an optimized exposure at first frame, even under changing lighting conditions.
For the first time, a full HD resolution global shutter sensor fits a 5.3mm diagonal, making mobile-like footprints possible.
Machine vision applications often have very diverse environmental conditions and Emerald 2M is available in two different chip packages to either optimize size and cost or prioritize robustness in harsh conditions.
